As noted in my walk around of the "Rapid Deployment Vehicle" or "RDV" here I and my wife have again been invited to take part on this model show as guests of the PMC Bodensee a week ago. This model show is held once a year in the most southern part of Germany in the city of Friedrichshafen steeped in history not only by names like Dornier and Zeppelin.

And a lot of beautiful modelling could be seen here! I was most impressed again by an elderly gentleman who displayed his self-made cannon models made of metal! While taking pictures of his applaudable models he prompted me to raise one of the smaller cannons. I managed to do so but it wasn´t an easy task with the model weighing about 15 kilograms! This big scale cannon models are all done by himself on a lot of heavy machinery at his home! Have a look at these true masterpieces:

Here are some pictures of the exhibition space, still to be filled with more models during setting-up the show:

Let´s stay within the big scale for another moment. These tank and vehicle kits are done in 1/16 scale from kits, conversions and scratch build:

Getting older I more and more get attracted by this scale... ;-)

There have been many more very well done figure kits on different tables, but I only managed to do these few pictures due to the short period of time before the public was allowed to get into the exhibition halls and the too bright sunshine in the morning.
