Scale Model World is the major UK model show for the IPMS and is very much an international event, those who attend the show will see many jackets with IPMS Finland, Houston etc with modellers traveling far and wide to savour the modelling delights on show. Now if I'm being honest I was a bit disappointed with this years show compared to last years, it seemed noticeably quieter and more aviation based then ever, but it still had thousands of models on show, with vast amounts of trade stalls showing their wares.
I've roughly broken the pictures into areas, such as Aviation, Armour, Diorama etc, I had hoped to split the Competition photos into class however a technical hitch meant I lost my notes so I've been forced to lump them all together! To start with is some general shots to give those who haven't been to the show an indication of the size of the place, If you have a big budget I would find somewhere to stay and spend the two days because you 'll need it, those like me with meagre funds spend the day 'window' shopping and looking at the results of the awesome talent on display

Zoukei-mura Stand
It was very nice to see our goods friends from Zoukei-mura at Telford, it wasn't hard to find their stand, as by the opening time of 09:00 had a massive orderly queue snaking around their stand and half way down the hall! On show where their current kits in the Superwing Series, including the Skyraider and the upcoming P51D Mustang.
Great North Roads
It was nice to see the stand of Great North Roads, who make really good diorama items, we met them here last year and the stand and product range has come on leaps and bounds since last years show!
